Hello there!

I'm Adham, a passionate medical doctor currently serving as a junior neurology consultant at the University Hospital Zürich in Switzerland. Simultaneously, I am pursuing a Ph.D. degree in neuroscience at Tübingen, Germany. My research primarily revolves around the captivating field of brain imaging, with a specific focus on epilepsy. I have been engaged in investigating both generalized and focal epilepsy using diverse neuroimaging modalities. These include functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), electroencephalography (EEG), magnetoencephalography (MEG), and positron emission tomography (PET). By utilizing these advanced techniques, my colleagues and I strive to gain a deeper understanding of epilepsy as a disease and on how the brain works in general. A particular area of interest for me lies in exploring the functional brain networks present in epilepsy patients and discerning how they differ from those observed in healthy individuals. I aim to provide novel insights that contribute to our understanding of epilepsy's underlying mechanisms and potentially pave the way for more effective treatment strategies. Below you can find out more about my background and professional expertise.
